Both doors hinges where they bolt to the body were rusted through from that evil stuff called water.
The floorboards had surface rust but were still solid. I found this out after I pulled the 'fall apart in your hands, rotted carpet' out and scraped all the black waterproofing someone tried to pant on it to seal it all up. Note the wiring harness hanging down on the passenger side shot.. it also crumbled when pressed hard.. more rot.
The inside of both doors and floors, although carrying some surface rust were solid. Windows, door handles, ect. all removed. Transmission tunnel solid. The seats and material still in good shape.
The back hump and 'boot' flooring were all solid except for one spot in 'boot' floor where the bracket from the exhaust mounts to, it was just a hole in the floor.

The seats, doors, fenders, windshield, bumpers, dash, ect. have all been removed from the car. Only thing left is to remove the engine and transmission.

The Sprite has been stripped down and towed to Overseas Automotive (now known as Muller Automotive) where the engine and transmission have been removed. Then towed back to the house for removal of minor components in the engine compartment before media blasting.

Now to remove all the wiring and minor components so it can be taken in for media blasting.
